I WISH EACH OF YOU A VERY HAPPY:
Romance Awareness Month
National Peach Month
National Catfish Month
Yes, it’s true! August is the official month for each of those special things above and SO much more, which you can find at Edie Melson’s wonderful blog, The Write Conversation, so DO check it out, whether you are a writer or a reader.
BUT … I picked those three special things above for one very special reason and that is because each of them (romance, peaches, and Catfish) represents an aspect of my upcoming novel, Love Everlasting, which is book 2 in my Isle of Hope series. Which, by the way is …
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
FINISHED!!!
Thus the reason for no Journal Jot last week because I was pounding the keys furiously to complete LE by last weekend in order to stay on schedule for edits, proofing, blog tour, etc., so I figured you’d rather have me complete a novel than a Journal Jot blog, right???? My projected release date is September, either the 15th or 30th, depending on when I get all my ducks (which are also in LE, by the way) in a row. 😉 So stay tuned to Journal Jots for predorder and release dates, okay? And a special sneak peek at Chapter 2 in LE and pix of the hero and heroing NEXT WEEK, so come on back!!
Meanwhile, I thought it would be fun to celebrate with a contest, so do check it out below along with sales and preorders for several of my novellas, old and new.
In the meantime … Happy Weekend AND Happy Romance Awareness Month, National Peach Month, and National Catfish Month!
Hugs,
Julie
