You know, I may well be one of the few people on the planet who likes snow. Of course, that’s because I don’t go anywhere in it! Nope, I just get to enjoy it from my hearthroom window while my gas fireplace is blazing, beautifully aglow with greenery, twinkle lights and red velvet stockings.
But when I got up this morning and took this picture of the fresh-fallen snow in my backyard, “beautiful” wasn’t the first word that come to mind. It was more like, “YIKES … Christmas Eve is only TEN DAYS AWAY!!” Well, if you’re anything like me, you may have your decorations up, but presents are not completely purchased and wrapped, nor are the marble-fudge cheesecakes baked for my Christmas party tonight.
So … since neither you nor I have any extra time to read blogs at this juncture, I am pulling another “blue moon” with a short Journal Jot post so that YOU and I can get some things done.
