There is a light at the end of the tunnel …”

Hopefully it’s not a freight train.”

 —Mariah Carey

First pinpricks … then glimmers … then a steady stream of light and hope and health!! YES!!! Because of the many prayers of faithful friends like you, I am slowly returning to the land of the living from the demon flu. Even so, I couldn’t resist the Mariah Carey quote above because it soooo fits this awful malady!! One day you wake up feeling better and hope springs eternal, then the next day you’re down again, worse than before. Up, down, up, down, until you no longer trust that devious light twinkling at the end of that blasted tunnel because you’ve seen one too many freight trains of late.

But … since God causes all things to work together for good for those that love Him, the good news is that this stubborn, normally healthy woman has learned an invaluable lesson she will never forget:  Next year, without a doubt—flu shot!!

I will have to say that that freight train is coming in a wee bit handy, though, as I dive into book 3 of the “Heart of San Francisco” series, because I latched on tight as far as my writing and whoosh … I’m on my way! It’s so weird starting out with one page, then two, three and so on until chug, chug, chug … you have 25 pages (where I am now) and then 50, 100, and so on. Just like a train picking up steam, the pages build and so does the story. Amazing how that works and so very fun!

And speaking of fun …

FREE DOWNLOAD!!!  As some of you know, A Hope Undaunted, book 1 in the “Winds of Change” series is now available for free download on AMAZON, B&N, and CBD, so I am asking all my reader friends to download it even if you have it in paperback because every download keeps me higher on the list, which is good for sales. So PLEASE spread the word via e-mail or FB or Twitter or Pinterest or whatever means possible. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!

A dear author friend of mine, Pam Hillman, took this screen shot of her newest release Claiming Mariah when it was in the #1 Paid Amazon spot for Christian fiction at the same time that A Hope Undaunted was in the #1 Free spot for Christian fiction, so that was cool for a couple of days. Pam is on my “favorite authors” list and her new release is $1.99 for a short time only, so I hope you will take advantage and boot her back up to #1. Here’s the link: CLAIMING MARIAH ON AMAZON.

HALF-PRICE SALE!!! And in honor of Valentine’s Day, my Irish love story, A Light in the Window, has been reduced by almost half, now available for $3.99 for a limited time only, so if you haven’t had the chance to read Marcy and Patrick’s prequel love story, this is a great opportunity!! Here are the links:  AMAZON and B&N.
